Cast & Crew

Heather Valentine - Marley

Heather is an actor and writer who loves to make people laugh and sometimes if she's in the mood, cry. Her debut solo show Mastress of Ceremonies was labelled "the perfect comedy show" (Milk Bar Mag) at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and her 2023 show Dream House was equally well received.

Heather has had starring roles in award-winning short films which have won awards at international and local film festivals and screened at Golden Door, San Diego and Southampton,

Sunshine Short and Monsterfest Film Festivals. She made her French language theatre debut in the Melbourne French Theatre's C'est encore mieux l'apres-midi with award winning director Kotryna Gestait, and led sellout seasons of the absurdist comedy Social Dance at Theatreworks and The Business of God at La Mama.

When she's not treading the boards, in front of the camera or removing cat hair from her belongings you can find her making fun of the internet on Instagram @heatheractsgood

Eve Morey - Co-Director

After graduating from NIDA in 2006, Eve has worked as an actor on stage and screen for the past 18 years, though she began her career in children’s television over 25 years ago...

Eve is probably most recognised for her nearly decade-long role as Sonya Rebecchi on the long-running serial drama, Neighbours. Eve earned a Silver Logie Nomination for Best Actress and a Gold Logie Nomination in 2019 for her work; that same year, Eve’s farewell episode was nominated for Most Outstanding Drama Series – a category that no other ‘soap’ had been recognised in ever before. Eve’s more recent acting credits include Mystery Road (S2), Total Control (S2) and More Than This, as well as the Sundance award-winning film, Shayda.

In early 2019, Eve began to pursue her passion for supporting actors in performance through the role of Acting Coach/Dramaturg, before heading to the UK later that year to undertake Intimacy Coordinator training with Intimacy On Set founder and IC pioneer, Ita O’Brien (Normal People, I May Destroy You and Sex Education).

As an IC, Eve has supported various screen productions including the feature film, Shayda (Sony Picture Classics), as well as numerous television productions for NBC Universal, Netflix, Paramount +, Fremantle Media, Foxtel Group, and the ABC, with her more recent credits including Surviving Summer (Netflix), White Fever (ABC) and the yet to be released, Apple Cider Vinegar (Netflix).

Following her character’s departure from Neighbours, Eve worked as the serial drama’s resident dramaturg/acting coach for three years. Following this, she returned to her roots in children’s TV with ABC’s, Turn Up The Volume and has more recently supported the cast of Paramount+/Network 10’s new drama, Paper Dolls, as well as Foxtel Group’s new mystery thriller, High Country.

Eve is also the co-founder of Venn: a boutique production company that brings long-form film and television storytelling skills and experience to develop and produce stories that are designed to create change. Working primarily with non-for-profits and NGOs, Eve’s work as Creative Director spans the entire production process from script development to directing and producing.

Claire Frost - Writer/Co-Director

Claire's debut play, "Instructions Not Included", is a manifestation of the two sides of her professional personality battling to be heard. One part of her is an actor, disillusioned with her future in acting. The other part is a marketing professional, using her experience and knowledge to find the confidence she needs to move through the world.

As a first-time playwright, Claire is excited to debut "Instructions Not Included" at Fringe, blending her passions for theatre and marketing into a narrative that uncovers deep set fears, reaching out for hope and happiness.

Throughout Claire's experience as an actor, the role of marketing in theatre and film has always captivated her. When Claire finished her Creative Arts degree at Deakin University, she went to The National Theatre Drama School. After working on various theatre and on-screen projects, Claire found herself captivated by the role of marketing in the success of creative projects.

Claire completed a Masters of Marketing Communications at the University of Melbourne to engage with the field from an educated perspective. To strengthen her understanding of the business of marketing, she explored various industries outside entertainment, including corporate software, agency, equipment hire, and retail.

In 2019, Claire returned to acting, completing the Part Time program at the Howard Fine Acting Studio Australia as well as participating in the Acting Masterclass with Howard Fine.

In April 2022, Claire became the Marketing & Communications Manager at Howard Fine Acting Studio. This role allowed her to transcend the 'this or that' mentality and find a harmonious balance between acting and marketing.
